So, another question, what puts you under that catagory, and not under the first one? Like... what are the requirements?

2009-02-16 [windowframe]: That's explained on Donors, but it's to do with how many contests you've entered, and how far you got in a tournament. (so if two people both enter a tournament, and one makes it to round 1, and the other to round 3, the one who made it to round 3 will have a higher stage of the badge).

Well, now the character challenge link is up, but before it didn't give any indication one was running or if this page/idea/contest was even still all that active- apart from the comment box, whose latest comments aside from our own were dated a month ago.

I didn't see any links to enter the contests/challenges, nor any other information about the one currently running.

So, in other words, when I first looked this page it appeared to have been a fun idea at one point in time that had, for the most part, been abandoned. I DO see the Character Challenge page now, so I am assuming it is still being run (and someone replied to my comment) but it just does not appear to be all that organized to me...

I would however be very much interested in participating in future events, be there any.

2010-10-13 [windowframe]: This page lists past entrants of past contests and the winners - of course the Character Challenge wasn't listed here, it was still running (it's listed here now because it is closed, and the winner has been announced). it WAS listed on Competitions, advertised on Text Adventures AND there was a news item about it when it began.

You've mistaken the function of this page, and that's why it doesn't seem very organised to you, I think. :P it's not supposed to do the things you're expecting it to do. :)

If you want to see what contests are running, watch Competitions and read the news (you get notified each time a news item is made) to see what contests have just been opened.

2011-04-24 [windowframe]: Rp contests usually last more than a month anyway, so that would be completely impractical. :P We hold RP contests less frequently than normal contests because they take far more effort and time on the part of the moderators to run than any other contests does. They're incredibly time- and effort-costuming.
